  1.          6.4 CLOSE PLEDGES                                       Page 6.4.1

  4.          Here you close all pledges within a specified time period. To
  5.          remove all closed pledges from the pledge file refer to chapter
  6.          "Clear Pledges". If you want to close individual pledges refer to
  7.          chapter "Close or Open a Pledge".  To close pledges from the
  8.          "Stewardship" menu; select "Close Pledges" and press <Enter>.  A
  9.          message window will appear (we will assume the system date of your
  10.          computer to be May 5, 1991 as an example):

  18.          If you press <A> or <Enter> then no pledges will be closed and you
  19.          will be returned to the "Stewardship" menu.  Press <P> to proceed
  20.          with closing pledges, or press <C> to change the date.

  22.          If you press <P> then all pledges whose pledge closing date is
  23.          prior to your computer's system date (most likely today's date)
  24.          will be closed, and you will be returned to the "Stewardship"
  25.          menu.

  27.          If you press <C> a new window will appear:

  34.          Enter the new date, so that all pledges with pledge closing dates
  35.          prior to this new date shall be closed, or press <F2> to pick this
  36.          date from the pop-up calendar, and press <Enter>.

  38.          All pledges whose pledge closing date is prior to this new date
  39.          will be closed, and you will be returned to the "Stewardship"
  40.          menu.
